| We are in the process of accumulating a library of useful eBooks. We've begun with a collection of 37 cookbooks which can be accessed from the link in the menu bar.
eBooksforCharity.com has two goals:
1. To provide our visitors with the cheapest eBooks on the Web!
Some of these cookbooks sell elsewhere for up to $37, with most ranging from $9.95 to $14.95. Our library contains eBooks for which we have purchased resale rights, as well as eBooks that have been donated to us by our visitors. If you have a good, current eBook you would like to donate, please send it to us at service@eBooksforCharity.com. (Please insure us that you own transferable resale rights to the eBook.)
2. To help worthwhile charities
For every book we sell, we will donate $1 to the charity of our choice. One dollar isn't going to have much of an impact upon any charity, but if we sell 1,000 books a month, it can have a significant impact. For now, all donations will go to a single worthy charity. As we grow, add more eBooks and increase sales, we will add more charities. If you would like to suggest a worthy charity, please email us at service@eBooksforCharity.com.
Thanks for your support!
Please tell your friends about this website. The more visitors we have, the more our library can grow and the more we can help worthwhile charities. |
Grant County Animal Shelter
218 Barnes Road
Williamstown, Kentucky 41097
The Grant County Animal Shelter is a model for shelters who are working toward a no-kill objective. A few short years ago, the Grant County Animal Shelter followed the same practice as many shelters, where animals were routinely euthanized if they weren't adopted within a certain time period. The shelter's statistics for 2009 plainly show the progress that has been made. In 2009, over 1,000 dogs passed through the Grant County Animal Shelter. Only nine healthy dogs could not be adopted out and were euthanized. While that is still nine too many, it exemplifies the commitment of the shelter staff, volunteers and the community to provide a responsible, caring environment for the animals in their care.
For each eBook sold through eBooksforCharity.com, $1 will be donated to The Friends of the Shelter.
If you would like to directly help the Grant County Animal Shelter, they are always in need of supplies such as bleach, toys, treats, leashes and collars, shampoo, and medications. To make a donation to the Grant County Animal Shelter, make your check out to The Friends of the Shelter and mail to:
